Software rendering is perfect, very smooth and fast with no choppiness whatsoever. I have tried reducing detail completely, setting resolution to 640x480, turning off everything I possibly can, but still I get a huge amount of choppiness on the larger maps. Under OpenGL mode, some maps are acceptable, but most suffer from a huge fps hit! I've very much enjoying online play with Skulltag, although I'm finding the experience rather limiting as I'm stuck to games where software rendering is supported. Now, I'm fully aware that my graphics card is certainly not designed for gaming, I don't really play many games anyway (just a little bit of Quake Live, Quake 1 and as of late Doom). Firstly, I'd like to say that I'm loving Skulltag! Brilliant work, thank you!
